Catalyst worked directly for the President of StateGrid, a government-owned business enterprise to develop an international sourcing strategy to secure global supply of mineral resources that resulted in: US$100’s of billions of savings, and economic relations between Australia and China that have flourished and resulted in large project investments.

LAP’s portfolio value of $8 billion includes investments in Airlines, Oil and Gas, Tourism, Telecommunications and Agriculture. Catalyst developed a strategic business and transformation plan to grow the $8 billion to $30 billion through industry strategies for telecoms, tourism, downstream oil & gas, mining value add, renewable energy, power generation through a world-class consortium approach and JV project origination.
First Energy Bank, Bahrain
An Islamic investment Bank specialising in the energy investment setup for Gulf Finance House. Catalyst managed the program to establish and set up operations, processes, systems and interim senior management for 2 years.
Commonwealth Bank – Australia’s largest bank with assets of $800 billion
The bank created history in the financial industry by outsourcing its IT operations to EDS – the largest outsourcing deal at the time in the world, valued $10 billion over 5 years. Catalyst undertook business improvement assignments over 5- years in relation to this strategic initiative. Catalyst program managed critical large IT projects, developed business and IT aligned strategy.

Origin Energy, Australia’s largest energy company
Catalyst transitioned the sale of the asset management division into a standalone business with its own infrastructure, systems and finance function. Catalyst modernised the asset management and maintenance process and systems by developing a solution supported by a business case and then managed the project including sourcing from Oracle to create a new industry solution.
